About Tommy Simpson The Artist

I'm Tommy Simpson and ever since I can remember I've wanted to be an artist. One of my first jobs was as a billboard painter, and I believe this set the foundation for my love of "big" art.

As I gained more experience I decided to start my own sign business and was very successful until computers made anyone a sign painter. That was when I decided to specialize in something that not many people were doing at the time, namely Murals -- whether in peoples' homes, restaurants, hotels, or on the sides of buildings. This decision was made more than twenty years ago, and I've been doing decorative painting ever since.

Nowadays, I strive to combine my love for large art pieces with more refined canvas work and interior wall murals in homes. It's interesting to recognize the fact that after all these years of my having sought a single genre to specialize in, I've become proficient in a multitude of different media and techniques with a wide range of skills to share.
